Residential Recycling

RESTORE & REUSE: RECYCLING IS KEY TO OUR "GREEN" MISSION

You want to manage the footprint you leave on the environment and Flood Brothers shares your concern. Costs of waste removal are on the rise, but you can be assured that our goal is to optimize the recovery of materials that are discarded every day.

Flood Brothers shares a recycling facility that consists of two 18,000-square-foot buildings outfitted with technology from Action Vibratory Equipment along with over 200 hard-working employees to manually separate the materials. To prevent contamination by organic materials, food scraps or other unwanted commodities, our recycling program separates the approved materials to make a high-quality end product.

Our process includes the recovery of steel and aluminum cans, foil, empty aerosol cans, clear green and brown glass bottles and jars, plastic by type (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7), including milk jugs/cartons, juice bottles/cartons and all grades of fibrous products such as corrugated cardboard, chipboard, telephone books, newspapers, office and copy paper, junk mail, catalogs and magazines.

NOTE: Please remember to put all recyclables in the toter loosely so the driver can empty the container on your scheduled pick-up day. If preferred, residential customers can also put recyclables into brown paper bags and can place the paper bags into the recycling toter. Please do not use plastic bags as they are not recyclable.

We offer an additional service of transferring your collected landscape waste to compost sites. If a residential construction project is in your future, Flood Brothers has various sizes of roll-off containers. We provide recycling services to EVERY home we work with, supplying each homeowner with a durable Flood Brothers bin or toter to recycle items with ease. If your toter is ever damaged or lost, Flood Brothers will replace it free of charge. Additional toters are available by contacting our customer service department at (630) 261-0400.
